Taking inspiration from the iconic Tin Man, this session was all about learning to depict the gleam of polished metal surfaces with graphite pencils. From delicate heart lockets to tankards and the Tin Man himself, we have plenty of super shiny masterpieces in the making!

Wimbledon might be over but we’re just getting started.. with an all-out tennis theme! Whether it’s a focus on tennis gear, shadow selfies, players in action.. or simply Wimbledon strawberries and cream!..there's something for everyone.

There was a blend of laughter and deep concentration in class this week, as everyone got to work creating this super flock of seagulls... a few adorable puffins have crashed the party too!

We’re making big splashes, layering thick strokes of acrylic paint with palette knives. With a focus on capturing the dynamic movement of a crashing wave rather than strict realism, we have created these powerful, semi-abstract pieces.

This week we began our first session with acrylics, focusing on the advantages of underpainting and controlled layering. The result - a whole array of beautiful trees and house plants, from colourful, contemporary renditions to shiny green foliage.

This week we are painting with both watercolour and gouache. Some opted for the transparent, fluid nature of watercolours, whereas  others preferred the bolder, more opaque finish of gouache. From traditional terracotta to vibrant colours and intricate designs we have a beautiful collection of Mediterranean pottery.
