Hair-Up Portrait

The last week of drawing sees us experimenting with charcoal pencil techniques to create lots of lovely curls and tendrils.. observing the way hair clumps together to capture the natural flow and texture. And our new artists have gone from understanding body proportions and gesture drawing, to the basics of portraiture.
